Mikhail Prokhorov
Mikhail Prokhorov, Doctor of Sciences (Physics and Mathematics), Professor of RAS, Head of the Laboratory at Saratov Branch of Kotelnikov Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics of Russian Academy of Sciences.
Mikhail Prokhorov graduated from Saratov State University, Department of Physics (1992). Scientific degrees: (1997) Candidate of Sciences (Ph.D.), (Physics and Mathematics). Thesis title: Discrete multiparameter models of nonlinear nonautonomous systems (diode resonator, coupled resonators). (2008) Doctor of Sciences, (Physics and Mathematics). Thesis title: Nonlinear dynamical models of spatially extended systems (coupled map lattices, time-delay systems). Since 1992, he is a staff member of Kotelnikov Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics of Russian Academy of Sciences, where he worked as an Engineer (1992-1994), Junior Researcher (1994-1997), Researcher (1997-1998), Senior Researcher (1998-2008) and Leading Researcher (2008-2014). Since 2014, he holds the position of Head of the Laboratory of Modeling in Nonlinear Dynamics.
Mikhail Prokhorov was a Chair of the IEEE Saratov Chapter (2014-2019). Under his supervising, 2 graduate students received PhD degrees. He is an expert of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, Russian Science Foundation and Russian Academy of Sciences. He is an Associate Editor of Russian Open Medical Journal and Member of Editorial Board of Saratov Journal of Medical Scientific Research and Journal “Annals of Arrhythmology”.
Fields of interest: Nonlinear dynamics, modeling and simulation, time series analysis, time-delay systems, synchronization, communication systems, diagnostics of the cardiovascular system. Mikhail Prokhorov has 2 monographs and over 150 scientific papers in referred journals.
