Nadezhda Semenova, PhD, graduated from Physics Department of Saratov State University with a degree in “Radiophysics and Electronics” (Diploma with honor, 2014). She worked as an engineer in educational laboratory attached to the chair of Radiophysics and Nonlinear Dynamics in SSU (2014-2018). From 2015 to 2018, she worked as teaching assistant in the same place. In 2017, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of physical and mathematical sciences (PhD equivalent) in the specialty “Radiophysics” (thesis “Poincare recurrences in ergodic systems”). She has participated in the implementation of RFBR and Ministry of Education and Science grants several times, and has won Russian President scholarships for achievements in science in 2013, 2016 and 2017. Since 2018, she has been studying in the Doctoral school of FEMTO-ST institute (Besancon, France) in the framework of Russian-French joint project. Research is related to the impact of noise on neural networks and machine learning.

Scientific interests:

Nonlinear dynamics, statistics, noise, ensembles, networks, chimera state, solitary state, artificial neural networks, machine learning
